Season Five: Echo and Red

Written in 2007, when I was 12 years old (with one exception). Links go to Archive Of Our Own. This Season is when the Specials start appearing. They are more canon than I may have expected them to be.

Recurring characters introduced in this season:

• NEW BAD GUYS:
  • Zero: X-Naut (the bad guys from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door). A general Bad Guy, but he has roles to play.
  • Rakshawl: Elite (those aliens from Halo). He's also just kinda Here. Might come up again.
  • Wilson Constable Kilburn: His entire nature is shrouded in spoilers.
  • Tagliare: The fourth of the "main four" Beta Avengers.
  • Metal Speedy: A Metal Sonic chao. A Beta Avenger. Arguably the Main Antagonist of DCA as a whole. He will be back.

The Episodes:

• EPISODE 33: Shade VS Chao Part 3: Petty Rivalry
  • With the cast back in their gardens, things return to normalcy: a petty rivalry between Darks and Heroes, a mandatory schooling system, a poker game. However, the developments of prior seasons have tipped the scales somewhat, and consequences start to appear.
• EPISODE 34: Fight of the Thursday Players
  • It's time for the third poker game, though the Poker Gang's relations are perhaps more strained than they think.
• EPISODE 35: Unforgiving Consequences
  • Chao, lord of the Hero Chao, has had enough of losing to the Darks, so he turns to a sinister force for ideas.
• EPISODE 36: Keep It on Cue
  • There's trouble in the Hero Garden today as the Beta Avengers turn Tail back into a dictator.
• EPISODE 37: Prophecy of a Journey
  • Shade Junior has grown some, and he's joining the Beta Avengers.
• HALLOWEEN 2007: Pelottaa Scary Stuff
  • It's Halloween in the Dark Garden, and the chao are about to learn more about the future they don't look forward to.
• DCA 2009: The Secret City
  • The chao are missing. The Poker Gang are missing. Some dark force has pulled them back... back into that city. Some dark force which favours Dark... but hates him too.
• EPISODE 38: Remembering the Battles....
  • The chao discuss the past.
• EPISODE 39: Now You're Thinking With Portal Storms Part 1: Speedy Thing Goes In, Speedy Thing Comes Out
  • Shade does Portal.
• EPISODE 40: Now You're Thinking With Portal Storms Part 2: When I Look Out There, It Makes Me GLaD I'm Not You
  • But Portal was all just a ruse! The Beta Avengers bombed the Chao Gardens!
